About the company

Aryzta Bakeries Nordic AB was founded as a small family business in 1915. In 2010, the business was acquired by Aryzta AG, a global corporation in the bakery industry with manufacturing primarily in Europe and Asia. Aryzta Bakeries Nordic AB has two production facilities in Sweden (Stockholm and Malmö) that produce hamburger buns for the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish markets.

Job responsibilities

As a shift technician at Aryzta Bakeries Nordic AB, you will have overall responsibility for maintaining a complex production facility. You will ensure that production runs smoothly without unnecessary interruptions through both urgent interventions during downtime and preventive maintenance to optimize the performance and lifespan of the machines. The work includes troubleshooting and servicing both mechanical and electrical production machines and robots. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing maintenance measures to optimize the facility's operations.

You will have close communication with other departments to solve technical challenges and identify areas for improvement that contribute to increased efficiency and quality in production. The role also includes following up and documenting completed work in the company's maintenance system and ensuring that all operations are conducted according to applicable safety regulations and hygiene requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment
  • Perform planned maintenance to prevent downtime
  • Identify and drive improvements in machine performance, hygiene, and quality
  • Ensure that work is conducted according to the company's safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to solve technical problems
  • Document work in the maintenance system and participate in shift handovers
  • Provide technical support as needed and cover for absences

Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Engineering or technical degree in electronics or mechanical engineering is required
  • Experience with laws, regulations, and practices in the technical field
  • Experience in leading and managing technical situations
  • Good computer and systems skills as well as experience with automation systems
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
